Reminds me of one place I worked where someone stole someone else's lunch out of the common refrigerator. The person whose lunch had been stolen sent a note to everyone in the building saying they'd started a collection to raise lunch money for whoever had taken the lunch, as they were obviously too poor to bring their own, and everyone felt sorry for them. (Probably that didn't change much in the long run, but it made the person whose lunch was taken feel better, and gave several of the rest of us a chuckle.)
I bring milk to the office to put in my tea. This is one of the things people seem to just feel they can help themselves to.

I've been known to take off the label and write "Goat's Milk" on the bottle. Oddly enough, no one touches it after that.
