That sounds like the rights reverted. I wouldn't be surprised to see it come back through Open Road or someone else.

It's been a while since I bought a Nook book. But last time I tried, I was able to download the book and remove the DRM. If Von Ryan's Express weren't $8.99, I'd give it a go.

I wonder how well that works? I use a similar plug-in to back up ComiXology purchases, but those are just images.
