@quan0509: The book you're dealing with is either extremely large, or with an extremely tortuous DOM. (Or it has a weird quirk that CRe doesn't agree with).

Compare with a simple prose novel to double-check.

If you can provide a sample (ideally, a scrambled ePub) in a new issue over on GitHub, that might also help in pinpointing the main reason(s) behind the slowdown.
