I'm not sure that's the "best idea" but you could say it's the "safest idea". It's not "best" because we do not know (unless you have information that I don't have) that Sony will be putting out new firmware for the PRS-700.

By the way--I'm wondering why Sony would EVER call their produces ridiculous names like PRS-700. How about calling it something like Sony Reader II? Haven't they by now realise that they can have nicer names?
