Sigh, I know multiple topics can be confusing for some. But you really seem to want to stretch even the remotely believable limits of not being able to follow along. Here I'll break it down for you.

1) Post about the feature being moved. No one, including me, has said this was a good idea. Some have suggested work arounds, you might not like them that's up to you.

2) It has been mentioned this feature is currently bugged anyway because it doesn't keep progressing as you move along in the book. This is the bug which people are talking about Kobo fixing. Not the placement of the feature under multiple taps.

Given that neither is a "central feature" because you can still read your books, it's not going to be something Kobo prioritizes.

Now as to the placement, it's likely something Kobo puts even further down the list, it's still there, you can still get to it from within a book. People might not like the extra tap but really that's down to minor inconvenience at best. Obviously some will think this is a major drawback, but as far as reading and buying books it's not.
