I actually got no notices or requests from Amazon when the email from kindle was sent from Baen or Calibre. It seemed like they were just blocked and ignored. But the ones sent from my gmail app on my pc got the Amazon response.

Baen currently { from 2015 June 10 } recommend that users use a indirect method
https://www.baen.com/t-ereaderinstructions
Emailing books directly to your Kindle
10.Click “Email book to Me”
11.Enter your personal email address into the email address box
12.Press send
13.Check your email. You should receive an email from
Ebooks@baen.com with a .mobi file attached.
14.Forward this email to your Kindle, making sure the .mobi file remains attached. Within 15 minutes, your Ebook should be on your Kindle.

As I recall, Amazon started to apply a daily? limit on total emails from Baen so there was no problem early in the day but later emails were dropped.
I suppose the limit could apply to the emails using Calibre if there were hundreds of them.
