Yes, that's true. The "worth" I put to it is a mix of how many people requesting it, how much you would end up using it when reading, how much time it saves, and if it's multi-version compared to the time it takes to do, the complexity of other patches, and how long it takes to update. Changing this would require modifying the structure of the binary in addition to changing code, not many people have requested it, it only affects the home screen (not the reader), and it would not work across multiple versions (and would need an entire rewrite every version, not just an updated), so I don't think it's worth the time.
