I love the fact that it's a 10.3" reader. But I'm only looking for a reader and I don't care about note taking. I just want a device that will read everything (e.g. .epub, .azw3, .mobi,.pdf, etc.) at a reasonable size.

Is it overkill for just a reader?

I only know that my 6" reader is not cutting it and I'm not sure that 7.8" will cut it either.
