Forma issues

I've had my Forma for a year now, and I use it almost every day. I'm on the firmware from the end of September.

As time has gone on, my Forma is getting more and more buggy. It will sometimes turn itself on and drain the battery when not in use. I thought, maybe, this was because I had the sleep/wake feature turned on. I've turned it off, and it still does it.

If I have the sleep/wake feature on, it will put itself to sleep randomly while I'm reading. I'm not moving anything at the time, it just goes to sleep.

Now, with it off, at least once every day or two, I will hit the power button to wake it up, and nothing happens. I have to spend several minutes pressing the power button several times before the light flashes and it reboots itself.

I'm really getting annoyed by this. This is the most expensive thing I carry around all day (at least half-again as much as my phone or 3DS) and it glitches more than anything else I own.

Does anyone have any suggestions besides getting a new eReader? Not many of them have a screenlight, physical page turn buttons, and can be bought in the US.
