First the pros:
It works just as advertised. The magnets aren't too strong but they hold the cover well in both the closed position and the folded position. The case has the hole cut in the back to access the on/off switch. The cover is thick enough that it would protect the Kobo if it fell in the closed position.

Now the cons:
Only one really, and it might just be a personal bias. The photo in the ad on Amazon makes it look more charcoal than black. I would be fine with either. But the actual finish on the cover has this super-slick, imitation leather wallet/briefcase feel. Most the time I have the cover open anyway, but if it continues to bother me I'll probably take some fine steel wool to it to break the glossy finish a little. I was hoping more for the finish on the one I bought for my Paperwhite - OMOTON Kindle Paperwhite Case (10th Generation-2018), Smart Shell Cover with Auto Sleep Wake Feature for Kindle Paperwhite 10th Gen 2018 Released, Navy Blue - which is really soft and a pleasure to hold.
