I'm not really in the market, but I do have an old Fire HD8 I could trade in for a spanking new device, if it seemed worth it. But a dealbreaker for me would be the ability to sideload Google Play; Chrome and a few other apps are just too darned convenient not to have. I think Amazon was supposed to be locking down their newer Fires?
