Kindle ebook files are protected with a internal PID based on the Kindle's serial number, which Amazon already knows. So as soon as the Kindle is transferred to your account you will be able to buy ebooks and download them with the correct PID. Make sure your Kindle-specific US Amazon account does not have a non-US credit card (or address) associated with it.
