The difference is €50 here ($55), so while it is still a lot, not as much as in the US.

But I'm one of those who doesn't care about the price. I'm willing to pay a lot for the perfect e-reader. Not because I'm rich, but because I'm willing to save to buy something I will cherish for the next few years.
