The thing is, I don't think Amazon (themselves) ever sold Kobos until Walmart started selling them. I'm beginning to wonder what kind of "deal" Rakuten made with Walmart on Kobos — doesn't seem very exclusive at all. At any rate, it makes me wonder if Amazon is selling Kobos to undermine Walmart's seemingly feeble attempt to compete with Amazon here. Maybe Walmart is selling more Kobos than I think they are.
