Don't you already have a thread going about this?

Why not install the Kindle for PC app on your computer? Then you can have the Kindle books downloaded to that app, and the book files will then be on your computer, and can be drag & dropped into Calibre. Only THEN can the books can be sent to Calibre Companion.

Kindle books are tied to each device you download them to. A kindle book downloaded to the iPad Kindle app won't "work" on another device. Unless you're wanting to remove the DRM from the books so you can format shift them, etc.

Specifics of that process can't be talked about here. If that IS your goal, you need an older version of the Kindle for PC app on your computer.

There is no way to access or separate the Kindle book files stored on your iPad within the Kindle app on the iPad. Even with the iPad Files app, those files can't be accessed/copied/relocated.

What is your ultimate goal with the Kindle books?
