If the kindle is now working, leave it alone.
If it still isn't working, contact Amazon again.
To read epubs on your kindle you must download a program called Calibre onto your computer.
There is a special Calibre part of mobileread. Get more information about converting epubs to read on a kindle in the Calibre part of mobileread.
To get your kindle working, contact Amazon. They will be able to ask you what you mean.
I'm still not sure what you mean by 'suspended'.
