Yes! It just takes longer as the search look everywhere (text containing type fields)
There is a SETTING that Limits where
'non-prefixed' (no field name) sears look.
Preferences: Searching: (tick the 'Limit..." box and list the names.
If, you have a custom 'Authors' type column, remember to include it.
If you put the authors-title list for anthologies some place, remember that one too
