I'm a lawyer, so I think my responding to that could be dicey. Sufficed to say, my first firm job (which was awful and soul-sucking) had a separate fridge in the kitchen just for beer and everyone I knew kept a bottle of liquor in their desks. Now that I am in public interest law (I work for poor folk who can't pay), I just keep a flask in the desk for emergencies or late nights.
