If it is a permissions issue, Google take ownership windows app. There are various free and easy to use utilities that make it easy to get full control of files or folders with a simple right click.
Also unlikely but check, is the bug linked to whether you are replacing {over writing} a file Vs creating a new one. If you don't have delete permission to remove the old file, it could manifest like this
