My Max2 Pro is now working as a second monitor on this laptop, via HDMI/DP adapter. I just had to enable the external monitor in my KDE display settings, after plugging it in but before starting the Monitor app. KDE settings seem a little counter-intuitive to me

I tried updating my recent post instead of making a new one, but it looks like I'm not able to edit my posts due to my account being new. Thanks for this thread, it's been very helpful in getting this working. Very glad to have an e-ink option for typing, as I get bad eyestrain from LCD monitors.
