If I had a spare monitor, I would more than likely just build a new rig to hook up to it!

I've always been inclined to have more PC than monitor--not the other way 'round. Graphics, graphics cards and monitors are the least of my concerns when provisioning. The integrated graphics on the mobo are usually suitable for my needs. Nothing I do is graphics-intensive, and the only things I have running on a regular basis tend to be terminals, file explorer windows and a browser.
