Sorry, but a 'real book' reading experience is what e-reader devices eliminate .

It used to be rare that 'a hard bound book', was more than 1.5 inches thick.
Now it seems rare that they are LESS than 2.5 inches thick.
IMHO that is also too heavy to hold for any length of time (thicker, also means longer reading times), let alone haul around on your commute.
(Similar changes have affected Mass Market Paperbacks)

Same thing goes for the Calibre Viewer. The laptop is just too awkward to use or drag around on a commute (let alone,subject to 'snatch and grab' thefts)
IMHO The Calibre viewer is fine for PREVIEWING a book, but I'de rather slouch in my reading chair with my 6 ounce e-ink reader
