I guess I could go that way now, as I recently finally got data with my mobile phone, and so guess I could tether for whatever I need, as the impulse takes me. Before that though, I guess instant access to what I might feel like on a whim, seemed the better way to go.

I guess a good portion of mistrust also features, especially if no DRM removal were available. And then there is accidents or issues, so comfort in knowing other copies exist on some device. That said, I do go to some great lengths to ensure I cannot be impacted.

And like in another topic/thread there is a visual element for me, even if it cannot compare to your physical bookcase, virtual is better than nothing. I like to almost drool over my collection.
