calibre 4.2 shuts immediately down with tablet connected

- calibre starts and shuts down immediately with tablet connected
- calibre starts normally without tablet connected
Various tablets (Samsung / Huawei) were tested with and without installed book reader (MoonReader / Aldiko) - same results!
calibre recognizes new tablet correctly - but shuts down immediately after confirmation to control it
This behavior ist NEW. Managing of books on tablets via calibre was possible!!
How to remedy?
