For future reference, it's generally a good idea to use an editor like Notepad++ (a free download) rather than "notepad" that comes with Windows if you need to mess with any config files or most text files. Now you've confused me. The notepad onboard my computer says it is Notepad++. The computer runs Windows 10. Shouldn't it be the same?

Anyway, I think it always takes me a couple of tries till I get these kind of things working. Whenever I try to change anything on my Kobos, I need a bunch of tries, some help and someone to calm me down when I get frustrated. Might have something to do with not doing it very often, more like every two or three years and being afraid to ruin the whole reader altogether. And then, when it works it is like I made that new reader my own and I like it a lot better.
