Check to see if your video card has an updated drive (even a beta driver). If it does, install it and see what happens. If this does not work, uninstall the video card drive and let Windows use it's default driver and see if that works.

If you are using a laptop with dual-video chips, try switching to the other video chip when running Calibre. And don't forget to upgrade the video drivers for both video chips if this is the case.

You will have to install Calibre 4.2 in order to test all of this.
