Definitely a collecting thing for me -- I blame it on Shop Goodwill. Seriously, though, it kind of worked like this... when I saw an eReader or several eReaders in one lot at Shop Goodwill, I would think, "I'll put the minimum bid on that, surely someone will bid higher..." and (of course) no one did... and I did this way too many times.

"Well, if you're going to get a Sony PRS-650 you've got to have a silver one, a red one and a black one, you know. Ditto for the PRS-300 and..."

I've got way too many eReaders and a bunch of them are going to go to eBay, or Craigslist, or... (No one in my family wants any and keeping them all charged is a pain.)

I honestly don't know how many eReaders I currently have. But I'll have far fewer by the end of the year. I don't have any current models of anything (now that Tolino upgraded their models) and the only eReader I bought new was my original Nook Simple Touch (and it was on a Black Friday sale).
