A sleeve is a hassle. You have to remove the Reader from the sleeve to use it and then put it back when done. Plus, you have no protection while the Reader is out of the sleeve. Another thing is that it's easier to hold while in a case.

And unless the sleeve is a rigid sleeve, it won't give all that much protection while say in your bag or pack. And a sleeve is will not wake your Reader. You will have to do so with the power button.

To me, there are too many downsides to a sleeve. Most sleeves are useless and the ones that are not are too big.
