OK, you are the first owner of KOA2 to try (previous downgrade confirmations were from PW3 and PW4).
As I undrestand, you have got jailbroken KOA2 with the latest hotfix installed prior to upgrading to 5.12.2.
We assume that the latest hotfix installed after update allows downgrading to the factory firmware.
So, being on 5.12.2, install the latest hotfix (via UYK) and try to install the initial factory firmware (my link above).
If you have done all the above and failed, we can conlcude that downgrading is not allowed on KOA2.
