Did you use the standard installer or a third-party installer for portable Sigil versions?
Do you get the error message for all epub files or only very large ones?
In rare cases corrupted
sigil.ini entries might cause this problem.
Try the following:
1. Open Sigil and select
Edit > Preferences > Open Preference Location.
2. Close Sigil.
3. Rename
sigil.ini to
_sigil.ini.
4. Open Sigil.
Also, since Sigil accesses the system Temp folder, it couldn't hurt to empty it.
