Ah ok I can get ti to crash on my linux system with those steps. Interestingly it only crashes with the pre-built Qt version, not when running with system Qt. Since the pre-built Qt is 5.13.0 and system Qt is 5.13.1 it may be something that was fixed in Qt between those releases. Will try bumping up the Qt version in the calibre bundle and hopefully it will fix it.
