Last week I drove out to it, looking for some buckwheat honey. I bought a large batch of broccoli, a sack of apples, etc., but they had no buckwheat honey.
But, in the back of the store, I fond a large, inexpensive package of Turkish black tea. I thought it might be a nice break from my usual Chinese tea and picked it up.
I'm having the first mug now. It's very good. The dry tea is "dust," which I was a bit concerned about, but it turned out alright. I would describe the flavor as "deeper' and "fuller" than the Oolongs I usually have. When this pack is done I'll pick up some more and add it to my regular rotation.
But, it could definitely use some buckwheat honey.

I used the last of the Turkish black tea last Wednesday. I was impressed all along. When I bought it at the farm market the 500g package cost less than $8. I found it on Amazon at that time for about $12, but that was a bit high. I checked again a couple of weeks ago and found it for $9.40, so I may be having it again, soon.
Right now, I'm finishing up my second tea of the day -- a very nice Taiwanese Oolong.
