Hi,
I get exact the same error message.
I am using an old netbook with win7 and I am afraid it will not run with win10.
Anyhow, it is setup with calibre 64bit 3.39.1 for debugging (msi and tar) and still run well.
To test calibre 4 parallel, I download 32bit msi and install it (without adding tar file for debugging).
Installation is done into a different folder and all looks good.
When starting the icon, the error message appears.
So maybe a mess with my debugging setup?
Any detailed help is apprechiated as I am not a developer.
