Thank you for your answer.

I like too much your program and I would like to be up to date, but no way to change computer now

I have no idea about qt Web engine, but I have read that there is the possibility to switch between Desktop OpenGL, ANGLE (Direct X) and software rasterization at runtime. At least with library ANGLE it seems that you can use Direct X in windows instead of openGl.

Is there any possibility to have something in this way compiled with Calibre? (excuse me if I am proposing an stupid thing, as again, I do not know about Qt programming): It could be helpful for people with older computers.

(off topic): By the way, I refused to install freely windows 10 when it was possible, as many other people, because I think Windows 7 is easier to use and with more "freedom" from MS control.
