As I recall, this is the version that introduced the extension-change feature without checking to see if the new filenames were already in use. That’s a serious flaw that I don’t want to risk re-introducing, as it will royally screw up a book under very common circumstances.

The only desirable new feature I’m aware of in this is the patch to the routine which removes sets of files (Apple, calibre bookmarks, etc.), and I’ve already got that code squirreled away to be merged in. That code, I believe, was posted in #1208.

Are there any other positive changes in this fork?
