People have commented to that effect, yes, that it is 'cold' and also slippery.

I don't own one, but I do have the Oasis 1.

Here is my subjective thoughts on the issue: I think my Kindle Voyage has the best screen I've ever seen on an ebook reader. I think the Kobo line of ebook readers have great rubber-styled backs and are wonderfully 'grippy'.

I feel both companies make great ebook readers, with each company having its own set of pluses and minuses.

I do have plans to purchase an Oasis 3, probably around Christmas time, unless I fail to wake up one morning -- .

A cover - for any ebook reader - is mandatory.
