Library borrowing, lackluster software and being tied to a company that doesn't seem to care about them any longer.

The Nook feels like such a squandered opportunity by B&N. For a while there, they were neck-and-neck with the Kindle. When the ST came out with a lighted screen, it was amazing. That's what finally got me to buy an e-reader.
