@catsknit - where and when did you get the publisher, comments etc. I have a vague memory of getting a situation like you have if I did some editing, then downloaded metadata, without saving my change - or some similar sequence. Now I do any metadata downloading first, save, then do any editing and save again.

Here's a series of screen shots that shows what I probably would have done (some of my buttons may look different to yours because I've customised them). I assume you started off with this:

Name:	start.jpg
Views:	61
Size:	245.2 KB

I would have cut the series data from Title (to clipboard),

Name:	cut series.jpg
Views:	56
Size:	246.9 KB
ID:	173913

then clicked the to Title Sort button,

Name:	fix title sort.jpg
Views:	51
Size:	176.1 KB
ID:	173914

then paste the series data I cut from Title,

Name:	copy series - and cut index.jpg
Views:	64
Size:	244.9 KB
ID:	173915

then adjust the series data

Name:	end result.jpg
Views:	62
Size:	242.6 KB
ID:	173916

After that I would have entered tags etc and clicked OK.

If there is a field for it, that is where it belongs. That way, searches work well.
Which is PRECISELY what the OP was trying to do - get rid of Series in Title and put in the Series columns (name and index)!!!!
