I wonder if anyone's read about the availability of periodical content (newspapers, magazines, journals) to be made available in Sony Reader compatible format.

I love the e-reader concept for books, but, I also am incredibly optimistic about the chance to download my daily newspapers, weekly magazines, etc. and have them at my fingertips.

The NY Times' recent beta release of desktop reader software gets it close for tablets, etc., but wonder if e-reader versions are planned imminently.
