I'm not able to duplicate that error--that story downloads fine for me. Both in Calibre and in CLI.
A debug log might help me isolate the issue.

Hmm. That's a rather obscure corner case. I will address that by adding more tooltip text in config and a 'don't show again'-able warning dialog.
