Thanks for the advice. As much as I've tinkered with my old devices, it's funny that I never thought about changing the battery. I usually read on my tablet and rarely even powered on my old Kindle, but it came in handy occasionally on long trips to help cut down on charger clutter, or if I knew I was going to be doing a lot of outside reading.
