I did that on my DXG which I gave away. I use my Kindle Keyboard to test "dual mobi" produced by Calibre which I upload to Smashwords.
On a PW3, that file gives same results as an AZW from Calibre, but on Keyboard by default it looks like "old mobi", but if you press Aa and select "Publisher" you get the fancy version (KF8?) and also the user created margin in reader.pref is gone for all books!
Also one can set a negative margin in Calibre when creating dual mobi or AZW3 files. However I mostly read on the Kobo Aura H2O or the Sony PRS350, the PW3 is used for main purchases from Amazon.co.uk (via USB download) and the Keyboard model for US purchases.
It's time Amazon properly sorted out a Marketplace for Ireland. Offering USA or click English on Amazon.de are not Brexit solutions.
Also we are fed up in Ireland since 1922 being treated as UK region by international companies and English Language Book & Video publishers. We aren't even in the Commonwealth.
