Right; I don't like the two clicks needed to open the progression chart either. Not even counting that the space along the top of the page is huge and would hold 2-4 extra icons easily. It's the one thing I find to be a step backward from the previous firmware.
BTW: does anyone know if it's possible to have a larger font for the header and footer text? I set the Miniclock size to 8, and this font is even smaller than that.

If 'yes' ... it is possible to patch (via kobopatch) various parts of the GUI with your sideloaded font of choice. I'm working on a couple of new ones at the moment to allow you to specify a custom font for the new header/footer and also in the new navigation 'scrubber' where the TOC/chapter name button now is. There's already a long-standing patch called 'Change pop-up footnote font-family' for kepub pop-ups.

The font itself is OK, I'd only like it to be a tad larger.
