FWIW, I saw 3.4.3 on my end (Amazon US accessed from France), on a new layout of the update pages, with *every* Kindle ever to grace the earth listed each with their latest version (i.e., no longer on a device-specific page).
Given the timestamps in the tarball, might have been waiting in the wings for quite a while.
(The sourcecode page has also been re-organized, in much the same way, except there nearly every version is listed).
