I thought I should mention that the cut-off problem on the Portrait/Landscape menu also happens on completely un-kobopatched devices. I noticed it by accident on both my H2O and ClaraHD (both devices had the ForceAllowLandscape=true in the .conf file).

I'm not suggesting for a moment that you shouldn't try to fix it via kobopatch if you want to, just that kobopatch didn't create the problem.
