The old viewer had no trouble with coverless epubs, just started at the first page of text.

The Check Book tool in the calibre editor doesn't complain nor does the Epubcheck plugin in the Sigil editor. If a cover is mandatory would have expected one or both of them to complain.

I discovered what happened to the margins, they got reset to default settings - I must have clicked wrong button at sometime.

I really miss font resize buttons, and search.
