FWIW on my Forma with magnetic sleepcover ... when I first wake it up it takes a little while (maybe 30-60 secs) before responding to a page turn (button or touch). Once it is responding it responds as expected until the next sleep.
IMHO just live with it! I'm thankful to have such a great hack in the first place.
