That is why I prefer a dedicated music player over using a phone (whether feature, or smart) as a music player. I basically use my flip phone mainly for phone calls and text messages.
To me, a cell phone involves compromises such as the quality of the DAC, and the user interface. In addition to including the 3.5mm jack with the phone, it should be possible to use a better external DAC as an option via the data connection (be it USB-C, Lightening, Micro USB or something else) if the user chooses.
And now for something completely unrelated...
In stories are there certain characters/devices that just end the story once they appear? I don't mean that the story actually ends, but the moment the character/device appears you instantly know how the story ends. You might not know the details, but you know how its going to basically end.
An example of this in DC Comics: The Miracle Machine. It is a device that can turn thoughts into reality. What makes it a story ender is that it turns any thought into reality. In
Final Crisis where evil finally won, with one thought Superman used The Miracle Machine to completely undo all that had happened and restore everything back to normal in an instant.
Could it be that devices like that basically ruin a story because if how powerful they are?
