Silverty - as long as you're using an Indigo gift card? Yes. I used Plum Points. And the reader I got there didn't have the issues others here reported, so I think they got the good batches.
I bought mine at Indigo thinking I would score on plum points, just to realize afterwards that you don’t get points for a kobo haha.

Honestly I would advise against buying it a Indigo because once the box is open, unless it’s deffective they won’t return it. While Best Buy for example will return it even if you just wanted to try it out.
