@MarjaE: I have zero experience with multiple lirbaries (and/or virtual ones), so take that with a grain of salt.
Even if it did work, I can't see it being practical (f.g., you'd probably have to sync each library on its own, you'd have to make sure there aren't any conflicts, you might have to get creative with settings so that one library's collections doesn't mangle another's, etc.)
Things are designed to work on a 1:1 mapping.
